Lesa Paylor, M.A., has been on the faculty of PMG at VCU since November 1999. Lesa has nearly 25 years of experience in training and organizational development. She conducts training for the Supervision Preview Institute, Fundamentals for Supervisors and Virginia Supervisory Institute. Her specialty areas include communication, team dynamics, leadership and meeting management.
Before joining PMG, Lesa conducted leadership institutes for corporate organizations and nonprofit associations with Mary Washington University’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies. As training and development coordinator for the Virginia Department of Health, she conducted agency-wide management and staff development workshops, as well as state policy courses. As instructional designer for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia, Lesa designed technical training and conducted media presentations.
Lesa has managed and trained staff for two international ministries. Since 2001 she has been a teaching director for Community Bible Study, an international interdenominational organization. She has worked as an independent consultant for a variety of private and nonprofit organizations.
